A joint is where the ends of two bones come together (e.g., hip, knee, elbow, shoulder, finger). They are important to facilitate the movement of our body. Many adults experience some form of joint pain in their lifetime. It may be due to arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, gout, lupus or fibromyalgia. It can be due to other health conditions also. Joint pain may become more prevalent with age & gets steadily worse. But, it does not have to be unavoidable. There are some lifestyle changes you can make to reduce symptoms and improve function.
